Andrea and Alessandra!
Hello FAHCmilya! My name is Andrea Carlos and I am one of your 2024-2025 Community Service Coordinators! Our role as community service coordinators is to provide health-related volunteer and community service opportunities within and beyond the UC Davis Fil Am community. We are always welcome to answer any questions or concerns relating to volunteer activities, so don’t hesitate to reach out to us! One of the events we are responsible for is Veterano Luncheon where we honor Filipino veterans. We also serve as FAHC’s cultural chair liaison and collaborate with the fellow FilAm cultural chairs to bring more light to culturally sensitive topics and celebrate our culture throughout the year! I’m looking forward to spending the year with y’all and growing together!
Hello, Fil-Am community! My name is Alessandra (you can call me 'Aless'), and I’m one of your FAHC board’s Co-Community Service Coordinators this year! It’s an honor to serve and help my fellow Filipinos gain meaningful experiences through community service.

Be on the lookout for some exciting upcoming events like Halo-Halloween (10/30) and the Veterano Luncheon (date TBD). As someone who grew up in a tight-knit community in Delano—where the unity clap originated—this role is close to my heart.

I’m eager to work alongside the Fil-Am community, especially for those navigating the pre-health/pre-med track like myself. My co-coordinator and I have some exciting programs lined up, and I can’t wait to share them with you!
