Schedule
Will the schedule of events be provided?
Yes, the schedule and agenda can be found on a PDF version of the program which will be available soon.
Networking
Will I be able to talk to the professionals?
There will be ample time for Q&A periods during both panels and workshops. Also, the speakers attending health conference want to be a valuable resource to students and are often open to discussion after panels and workshops if their schedule permits. If not, many also openly provide an e-mail address for you to personally contact them.
How do I network?
For some tips on networking refer here. These health professionals are volunteering their time to share their knowledge and experience with you so don’t be afraid to ask them about their journey or experiences!
Miscellaneous
Do I need to pay to attend?
No! Health conference is a free event open to all individuals.
Is there food provided?
Yes! Breakfast and lunch will be provided for all attendees.
What do I wear?
Although there is no strictly enforced dress code, we encourage you to dress your best. Because there is plenty of opportunity to network during health conference, we advise dressing as if you are going to a job interview. Business casual is therefore the best way to go. If you’re wondering what business casual looks like, refer here.
What will I gain from this experience?
Knowledge, insight, preparation, motivation and inspiration. Health conference is a great way to explore the wide variety of options available within the health field and to learn about how to get where you want to be in the field. In addition, it is an uplifting way to network with and get advice from professionals that were once in your shoes.
